Maximo SCADA Integration Overview
Ontracks has developed an integration that allows one of North America’s largest transporters of crude oil to quickly and easily create Maximo work order records from a SCADA screen.
This integration makes creating a Maximo work order from a SCADA system easy by launching a new Maximo browser window directly from an operator’s SCADA user interface. The result is a pre-populated Maximo work order with information related to the SCADA equipment, which is then submitted for approval. This also allows operators to quickly view all Maximo work order history related to the piece of equipment on their SCADA screen, increasing productivity and decreasing the amount of time spent toggling between two systems.
